DC (Direct Connect) is a decentralized information network whose main objective is to share and download files using themed hubs and channels in which users make any material related to the hub's theme available to other users.
The services is divided into hubs in which you can share files and make requests to others users in order to find what it is you're looking for. You can share the files using either P2P protocols or direct connections, the protocol that gave the program its name.
DC is free and open source, and it does not include ads or adware of any kind. Each one of the hubs has its own rules and conditions, and its administrators can create all kinds of requirements and conditions on file downloads in order to ensure the well-functioning of the community.
It supports magnet links, pausing of downloads in progress, being able to connect to several hubs at the same time, and a system that helps you manage favorite friends and hubs, making it one of the best options if you're looking for a different, specialized service to find that program or video you haven’t been able to find anywhere else.
